Journal of Modern Education Research (JMER) publishes scholarship on education across levels and contexts formal, informal, and non-formal learning; early childhood through lifelong education; schooling, vocational education and training, higher education, and online learning. The journal welcomes theoretically informed and empirically grounded work, as well as critical perspectives that illuminate educational processes, outcomes, equity, innovation, and institutional practice. In addition to original research articles, JMER also considers theory-focused papers and other scholarly contributions that support debate and development in contemporary education research.
